I don’t know for certain which companies are currently looking for freelance sculptors, but I know most of the big ones use them on a pretty regular basis. I know Hasbro in Rhode Island uses them quite a bit, as does Fisher-Price in East Aurora, NY. It helps if you’ve got a relationship with someone there or, if not, are at least close by. Any times I’ve worked with freelance sculptors, the deadlines have always been tight and it’s necessary to check in face-to-face on a daily basis.
