If you could develop the joinery such that, it will only go together one way and when it’s in place it can’t slip out. I’m thinking of a slotted connection with a snap lock or something. It’s a tough one, because all the joints have to be secured by the child. Unless you pump up the age requirements to something like an Erector Set or Mechano or something…
