Contract Issues - Freelance Industrial Design

Credit
The main thing at the moment is I’m trying to write a section of the contract to make sure I get enough credit. With photos & writing, it’s fairly easy to define when & where you should receive credit. When you design something…like a car…how do you ensure you receive proper credit through the writing in your contract? It’s not like I’m going to try to get my name plastered into the mold in humongous letters, but whenever there are things like magazine articles or descriptions on their website, I want to make sure I’m credited.

If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated. I know the “You should go to a lawyer” part…I’m just wanting to hear your feedback/experience.

Here’s what I was thinking.

“The Designer reserves the right to request, reject, claim, or deny credit for the Design.”

It is very basic and is similar to US copyright law 106A(a)(1).
