Finding Employment in Environmental Design

Greetings everyone,

I am new to this forum and have enjoyed browsing the threads and topics, but I have yet to find anything related to my current inquiry. Please feel free to direct me to any relevant threads and/or outside information that may help me.

I am a senior student in Environmental Design at ASU. The program offers studios, such as ID classes, sketching and modeling, and various classes related to sustainability and design thinking/strategizing.

What career opportunities are available for someone with a degree title “Environmental Design”, rather than the classic “Industrial Design”? My skills are comparable to an Industrial Designer. I can sketch very well, model, use tools for ideation and strategic thinking. The only difference is that my degree lacks technical CAD, but I have been well to train myself those areas.

Thanks!
