You're a Senior in High School.. .. .. TAKE IT!

You've got plenty of time for ID internships, and having an internship under your belt before you even start your formal design training is a big +.

You will get experience working a professional design setting, and may even discover something interesting in the process.

It'll be rare to snag an actual ID internship at your point. I'd take it. I spent forever hunting for an advertising internship (Ogilvy) back then... lucky!

I think you should as well.

If you do decide to do it. Take every opportunity in understanding how what your learning could apply to design. Good part of design is about understanding how to frame things and position (the pitch). Learning how to be persuasive is a very important skill.
