Some morning sketches, I will post some up later today or tomorrow morning.

@Sam Hagger, Thank you. Yes I went to some of the car dealerships yesterday took a lot of photos of the different forms and vehicle types, maybe I can shrink down some of the photos and post a couple. I agree im trying to control the line weight better but I keep making mistakes so I go over some of the lines to much. Thank you for the feedback

On a side note I almost went through the whole doodle thread and saw some of your motorcycles they were really cool!

i don't think you are ready for values yet. The perspective on your cars are still consistently a tad funky. Adding values to a drawing that looks odd isn't gonna make your drawing look any better. Rather than trying to add values to your car drawings. Do some value exercises on simple geoforms like cubes, spheres, cylinders, cones. Then try adding values with combined geoforms where a sphere is on top of a cube or a cylinder is intersecting a cone.

ok, looking back at them I see what your talking about. I will definitely do some of the exercises you suggested on the next post, and keep my eye out for the funky perspective issue.

Thanks for feedback Sketchroll!!

Also, I feel like you are purposely choosing to draw views that don't require you to draw the other front wheel. I know its difficult, but in your next set of drawings, try some other views that show all 4 wheels. Also I would like to see some back views of cars. Its gonna feel completely different. Looking forward to it.

yeah I am, I thought drawing 2 wheels would simplify my sketching wile I get the perspective and proportions under control, but im here to learn so on the next post I will show some with all the wheels and some rear views as well. yeah I bet it will feel different.

Thanks again Sketchroll!!
