Marker Rendering Help

Hi
Dose anyone have any good advice on rendering glass in marker or pencil crayon, and if there is any specific colours (like light blues, or grays) that would demonstrate it well.

I would usually marker in whatever is below the glass in muted tones, and then use some chalk dust (white, blues, and a touch of violet) with a cotton pad over the top. Finish off with some white pencil and a touch of white out pen.
