I am a graphic design student and in my layout class we had to do photo comps. THis is a good way of practicing just sketching. Just draw out a black and white photo with the grayscale markers. Our teacher recommended we get a 10% 30% 50% 70% and 90%. And we weren’t allowed to use black because people tend to use too much of it. I think this was a good basis. I believe in the next class we will do color photo comps.

I dont understand?? are you rendering a comp that you are about to shoot for a layout-or are you reandering a comp from a photo?? please just explain- i am probably just stupid and dont c it-but a pic would help…
