I think they're from the (long closed) firm DesignLogic: Marty (Martin) Thaler and David Gresham.
Marty was one of my professors, he's very excellent.

I love the product shots in the 80's. Often very hilarious..especially when matches are involved. Boy times have changed.

@RWM really nice sketch. I personally reckon the background + highlights combo works great to bring the third dimension to the sketch. And I do see it coming to life in your sketch. nice work. Looking forward to seeing more.
