Anyone have experience with particularly-good silicone keypad vendors?
We’re looking for silicone keys that are less tacky (dirt magnets.) I’ve heard this is usually done with a secondary coating process. I’m also curious about durable graphics (in mold decoration or other.)
A couple of our products look, feel and sound like over-sprayed polycarb, but are actually lacquered and sprayed silicone. All the effect of a polycard spider without the mess
IM decoration can be very expensive and the results can be pretty nasty, particularly on near vertical faces.
We usually pad print or laser etch graphics, then overspray with a hard lacquer. You can vary the thickness of the overspray if you want a really hard wearing surface.
