Keyboard Design

I would say that the history of the typewriter and the computer have shown how little has changed with the keyboard over the years. 100 years ago, they were using QWERTY keyboards. 100 years later we still are, and I’d be willing to be that we still will be in another 100 years, or at least until we can plug our brains into a USB port :wink:

Yes, voice recognition, gestures, etc. all have their place, and are improving at a rapid rate, but people don’t talk how they write, and they don’t want to have everyone overhear them dictate a email.

I’d like to try one of those old clackity clack IBM M Keyboards, or an old Underwood upright hooked up to a computer.
