Oh man. So many of these from the past few years. Here are a few for a moto project from a couple years back.

Cool, I'm glad this popped up! I've always struggled with soft goods...

Some of my sketches for sketchwars, initially started with a men's holdall and wanted to blend materials.

Image

Then I decided to switch it up and do a modern material construction with what's usually a more traditional silhoutte. The idea was a techwear inspired holdall for women, maybe the straps wrapping over could hold a yoga mat? And what if instead of a traditional closure the experience of the handle strap played off of sneaker culture and we used laces?

And some old sketches from last semester..

Thanks Michael!

Ironically that's an Adidas shoe. I'm sure that's not the best inspiration for a Nike bag but I liked the window of support materials.

Decided to throw in a quick photoshop:

This probably falls into the etc category, I use a ton of Index cards for thumbnails, client meetings, scene writing etc, all I need sometimes are my precious index cards and a pen. So now that I am getting comfortable sewing stuff ( been cranking bifold wallets for Friends,Family and Etsy) I wanted to make a case. Here's my Ideation & Construction sketches and the first prototype :)

Been making deconstructed ( frayed edges, crooked stitches, rough cuts) mens bifold wallets to learn/get better at machine sewing and modifying patterns, after 20 or so,I think I got the gist of it : )

So now I wanted to do something else, A women's cash envelope wallet and a simple cellphone sleeve/wallet perhaps:

The bong wallet idea didn't go far but was considered briefly : )

I need to work more on the women's one, but the cellphone sleeve/wallet turned out just fine :
