i have an idea for a new take on an existing product. keeping in mind that i don’t need to reinvent the wheel here, is it possible to find soft goods designers who can really “do it all”? i’m talking, research, design and development of the new product, prototyping/sampling, setting up your manufacturing, the works? can turning an idea into a product really be this streamlined? seems like if you found the right people/firm, the process might not be that hard. what am i missing? surely it can’t be as easy as this?
It can be that easy. But it comes at a price. If you find people with that level of knowledge they are going to be expensive.
