I can’t tell if there is any craftsmanship here. Their videos are shaky handy-cam that only show, what seems to be, paint applied far too thin and unevenly. They never bother to show joinery or how they deal with end-grain (laminate?, thicker paint?).
What I love is how they say in that Core Blog post that they are “experimenting” with other forms of retail like “selling out of truck beds”. I want to see them pull up to a ghetto in Camden, NJ and start pushing these things in their tight pants. Hahah!
One last thing, their videos are labeled “learning about manufacturing”, “Learning about chrome”. Really? I’m paying you to learn?
