I created a logo for a startup called Chiselry & Co (chisel like chiseled skin + chivalry). This is a skincare startup with the goal of educating men on good skincare practices and products. The ultimate vision is to be able to expand to both genders, male and female and ultimately launch their own skincare products.
The goals of my design direction are to play on the Chisel aspect and create a logomark of a chisel that people can instantly recognize and associate with this brand (almost like Blue Bottle Coffee’s logomark). The logo is intended to be relatively gender neutral but convey attributes like: classy, trusted, modern, and hip. Some comparable brands could include Everlane, Harry’s Shavers, and Warby Parker.
