We have a unique design we are working on that chemically bonds an injection-molded nylon upper to a rubber sole. What we’ve found is that the black TPU we used is marking up the floor when the tester walks on it.
So we are searching for a non-marking TPU with a high melt point. We found that most TPUs melt at 300-350 degrees, and we need a TPU that runs at 520 degrees to melt the surface of the nylon and make the bond. Any ideas?
