We’ve developed the Make Works http://www.makeworks.co.uk directory which is a way for designers, artists and makers to connect with local fabricators, open facilities and material suppliers.
We’re looking for feedback on people’s experiences of trying to get something made ranging from a prototype for a project right up to a production run.
We want to know about the problems you have with manufacturing. Bad communication? Stuff didn’t arrive as expected? Costs too high? Minimum production runs? Took too long?
