how do they make curvy shaped glass? do they mold it? usually glass on mobile device are just flat
The glass can be CNC routed and then polished to get the curved edge look.
This similar to how the iPhone or other phones have a CNC’ed chamfer around the receiver opening.
For phones that are actually curved like the LG flex, they are using Gorilla glass which has a very high flexibility.
