Hi, I recently got a sample of 40oz . vinyl coated fabric. It has everything I’m looking for in an alternative to leather; thickness, stability, drapes well, wears well, can be sourced. The only issue is that its terrible for the environment. Has anyone come across semi comparable products? Perhaps I’m asking for too much in a material. I asked a similar question awhile back and got some great responses about PU. But from what I have seen either doesn’t come in thick enough formats or had a fake leather texture.
