Another annoyance blocker add-on I use for firefox is NoScript. It won't allow stuff like that to automatically load up and play until you specifically allow it, highly recommended. So all I see is the placeholder box and if I want to watch it, I have to click on it to allow it to play.

it blocks ALL flash though... so if I go onto a site that has flash, it seems to tell me to "install flash".
I understand that I then have to tell NoScrip to allow the scrip for the site but that is an extra step that I have to take just because brightcove is setup this way?
Here's the thing with no script, it'll only do that the first time. Once you click to allow something on that page, it remembers it for good and you'll never have to do it again. It's only when you go to a new place that you haven't "cleared" yet will it do that.
So after installing, you go to core77 and click "allow core77", and you'll never have to do it again. If it's a site you're not sure about so you just want to allow it this one time you click "temporarily allow so and so site".
