I just ran across a brief news article about this. Portugal is building the largest solar electrical station in the world next year. It will come online in 2009. It will supply enough electrcity for 21,000 homes.
A poster on another forum told me that I’m not hard enough on the Europeans with regards to unsustainable energy policy. When I read stuff like this, it makes me think that Europe has at least a few politicians smart enough to plan ahead, unlike some other places
