for those unfamiliar with the republican mindset, many of them believe that all liberals want to do is destroy the lifestyle of real redblooded americans. hence gun control, not allowing school prayer, etc (i’d mention the “great reversal” of the 1960’s but lets not go there). basically there is still a large portion of the population that believes that global warming is a hoax perpetrated by al gore, george soros, and the entire world community of scientists (who tend to be liberal!)
basically, we took god out of the schools, we took their guns, and now we want to take their pickup trucks. remember, the hippies wanted to protect the earth so you know it must be bad.
