i am in charge of a portfolio review event at my ID school. this is where we have a board of professionals come and review student’s work. We have three sessions on three different nights to get iterative feedback. the first session went very well, but for the next two i want to think of a way to really amp it up. any suggestions? extra things i can do/provide to make the night especially beneficial for everyone?
Not sure what you have done already but you might want to develop a criteria sheet rating students work.
Don’t use the 1-5 scale though. Have something like: professional level - almost there - average - needs work - … and so on. Leave space for brief comments.
You should have ratings on skills and thought process. Keep it to one page with brief questions. If there is too much on the page to fill in no one will use it.
