Hi,
I'm looking for furniture design data in metric units. What are good books to buy on the subject? Most of the anthropometric and ergonomic data I find is in imperial units. And I am not sure if an exact conversion is considered as best practice.

TU Delft has a useful tool: http://dined.io.tudelft.nl/en/database/tool
It's free and results are metric.

There is also a freely downloadable 1994 lecture book with lots of information regarding anthropometry and chairs - you will have to Google translate it from Dutch:
