OCAD University graduate program in Design for Health

Are you looking for a master of design program specifically in health?

OCAD University’s new graduate program in Design for Health is launching in September 2016 and accepting applications until April 15, 2016 with several competitive scholarships available.

The Master of Design in Health degree program is offered both as a full-time, two-year (five semesters) program and a part-time three year (eight semesters) program.

Design for Health is structured with a combination of online and integrated seminar and studio formats.

Design for Health is intended for designers with training and experience in various disciplines including architecture, interior design, engineering, interaction design, urban design and planning, communications design, industrial design, fashion, fibre and wearable technology design, as well as individuals with health training and experience who would like to develop skills in service and systems design.

This program integrates design and design thinking with the complex and intertwining fields of health and healthcare through studio and embedded projects. The Master of Design degree in Design for Health will address the expertise gap in the application of design processes as well as the need for design leadership to implement and support emerging health innovation.
